Patrice Eller was the health policy team lead at CHRT since its inception, responsible for the development of health policy projects focused on health reform, health status improvement and access to health care. She retired in April 2015 however remains in a consultant role, representing and engaging CHRT in external
community events and projects.
During her first two years with CHRT, Patrice concurrently served as a director in the Health Care Value Enhancement Division for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM). Prior to that, Patrice served as deputy director for Adult and Family Services at the Michigan Department of Human Services for three years. Her 25 year career with BCBSM includes four years as manager of Social Mission, where she developed the health agenda focusing on health status improvement initiatives and supported the Access to Health Care Coalition. Patrice holds master’s degrees in social work and public health from the University of Michigan.
